Were you unsure about the decision
to do genetic testing?

Share your experiences!

You are invited to complete a short online survey to help our research team to better understand how people make the decision to do genetic testing and how they cope with uncertainty related to genetic test results. The information can help improve communication between clinicians, patients, and families. The survey is open to adults over age 18, who have completed genetic testing*, and can read English.

*Note: This does not include at-home genetic testing kits such as 23andMe or AncestryDNA.

All responses are 100% anonymous.

HELLO THERE!

We are communication researchers who are interested in how people navigate uncertainty related to health and health-related decisions. This research focuses specifically on the decision to do genetic testing. We are grateful for individuals who are willing to share their experiences and hope the results will help clinicians understand how the decision affects patients and their families.
